About the city

I planned my trip to Barcelona with my family friends. We stayed in Barcelona for two weeks and also went to some nearby cities. Here we stayed in the best übernachten in Barcelona city. Barcelona is the capital of Catalonia. It is the second largest city in Spain. Barcelona is also recognised as a global city because of its importance in finance, commerce, media, entertainment, arts and international trade. While staying in reservar hotel Barcelona i also realised that Barcelona is a great tourist center. Barcelona is today an important cultural centre and a major tourist destination and has a rich cultural heritage. Barcelona has a Mediterranean climate with mild humid winters and warm, dry summers. Barcelona is rich in parks. Our fin de semana Barcelona was situated in the heart of the city. The skyline of the city is decorated in winter by the summit of the Montseny mountain, normally covered by snow. Barcelona is a bilingual city. Its cultural roots go back 2000 years.

Barcelona has seven beaches which includes Sant Sebastia, Barceloneta, Nova Icaria, Bogatell, Mar Bella, Nova Mar Bella and Llevant. Near the historical center in the city i saw a four star hotel Barcelona . Placa Catalunya is the city's historical centre ahnd Avingud Diagonal is the main commercial centre of the city. Barcelona has several skyscrappers, the tallest being the Hotel Arts. hôtels à Barcelone in the city are well built with the unique design. From Roman town it passed to medieval trade juggernaut, and its old centre constitutes one of the greatest concentrations of Gothic architecture in Europe. Beyond this core are some of the world's more bizarre buildings: surreal spectacles capped by Antoni Gaudí's Sagrada Família church.

Hotels in Barcelona

When we visited the city we stayed in Hotel Ayre Gran Via, it is located near the city center. While staying in the Barcelona hotels i got some information about the city that it is Spain's most cosmopolitan city. What all i got to know about the city is that it also have the busiest ports. Nearby the main city center almost close to my hotel i saw Hotel Husa Illa, this hotel have close proximity to the shopping center. This city also serves the best Mediterranean cuisines and that are really very tempting and delicious. When i was staying in the luxe hotels antwerpen i noticed that it is a beautiul city with full of markets , shops, museums and churches and it is also great for walking around. We promenade along the city and saw all the best attractions of the city and also did shopping. We also enjoyed our lunch in one of the good restaurants in the city which is the famous one.

Hotel Duquesa De Cardona, is in the main area in the city. It is also a stylish hotel aan de kust fully equipped with all the latest facilities. Attractions in the city are close to this area. August is probably the busiest time in Barcelona; at the same time about 10% of shops and restaurants can be found closed from mid-August to early September, when the owners go on vacations. While staying in the vakantie aan zee , i was searching on net about the other city' s best hotel. As i was searching on net i saw Hotel Prestige Paseo De Gracia, it is in the commercial center in the city. From here the main Barcelona city was near. Staying in Barcelona could be of fun as it is the best city to stay in. There is a best area to stroll in the city is Las Ramblas, it is a gorgeous tree-lined pedestrian walkway, the busiest and most lively street of the city. La Plaça Catalunya - it is also one of the main area which connects all the major streets in the city, the Placa is known for its fountains and statues, and the central location to everything in the city.

Festivals in Barcelona

The city also celebrates many festivals. When the festivals are going on in the city thats the best time to visit the city. Barcelona has managed to maintain many customs and traditions over the years, which are very common in everyday life. Nearby this festival area i saw a very classy hotels in Barcelona Spain . Some of the main festivals of the city are Sardanas: Traditional Catalan dance. People meet in front of the cathedral on Sundays to dance it; Castellers: The "castells" are impressive human towers of up to 9 "floors". They originated in the Tarragona region, although they can be seen in popular festivals in Barcelona, especially during the "Mercè"; Saint George (Sant Jordi), patron saint of Catalonia: On 23 April the Catalans celebrate Saint George's day by offering a rose and/or book, and the main shopping streets of Barcelona are filled with book stands and many more. Other cities nearby

Madrid, Cadiz and Cordoba

After staying up in Barcelona we went to Madrid. The capital of Spain, located in the heart of the peninsula and right in the center of the Castillian plain. Here we stayed in the budget hôtel à Madrid which was close to the museums in the city. While Madrid possesses a modern infrastructure, it has preserved the look and feel of many of its historic neighbourhoods and streets. Its landmarks include the huge Royal Palace of Madrid; the Teatro Real (Royal theatre) with its restored 1850 Opera House. Around these attractions in the city i also saw Madrid Hotel , which is architecturally well built. this is a city as at home in the nightclubs and bars that give the streets their soundtrack as it is in the hallowed halls of high culture. While staying in the weekendje Madrid we also enjoyed the best food here.

From Madrid we started our journey to Cadiz. It is a city and port in southwestern Spain. Despite its unique site — on a narrow spit of land surrounded by the sea — Cadiz is, in most respects, a typically Andalusian city with a wealth of attractive vistas and well-preserved historical landmarks. We stayed here in the Hotel specials Cadiz which is located in the main city center. The city can boast of an unusual cathedral of various architectural styles, a theatre, an old municipal building, an eighteenth-century watchtower, a vestige of the ancient city wall, an ancient Roman theatre, and electrical pylons of an eye-catchingly modern design carrying cables across the Bay of Cádiz. Our hotel in Cadiz was also close to the local markets in the city. The old town is characterised by narrow streets connecting squares (plazas), bordered by the sea and by the city walls. Most of the landmark buildings are situated in the plazas. Like a typical Spanish coast, Cadiz is blessed with the sun’s golden rays so is quite hot during the summer season. We enjoyed our royal stay in the Cadiz hôtels as well the city attractions and climate.

Later then we went to Cordoba. It is a city in Andalusia, southern Spain, and the capital of the province of Cordoba. This time we decided to stay in the Cordoba hoteles which is far from the city's hustle bustle. Tourism is especially intense in Cordoba during May because of the weather and as this month hosts three very popular festivals. The May Crosses Festival takes place at the beginning of the month. We also did sightseeing from our Cordoba Hotels only as it is a good place for sightseeing. During three or four days, crosses of around 3 meters of height are placed in many squares and streets and decorated with flowers and a contest is held to choose the most beautiful one. Usually there is regional food and music near the crosses. It is the main festival in the city. As Cordoba is connected to Madrid and Seville by the AVI high speed train, it is possible to visit the city as a day trip from either city. From Madrid the train ride is about one and one half hours (one way). But we decided to stay atleast overnight so we took a room in hotel Cordova promotion which was near to the city attractions but far from city's hustle bustle.
